A rare find from Ove Wendt when he was producing solo work from his personal studio throughout 1959-1969. He has maintained his own workshop since that time period, but worked with Andreas Mikkelsen from 1970-1978 and then designed for Georg Jensen from 1978 until his passing. Most of the time you will find his name associated with another silver house.

The green chrysoprase in this bracelet is phenomenal and the details embody the ornate Danish designs that were being influenced by his work during that era. Ove Wendt set the bar when it came to the floral motifs and repeating symmetries, so to find a piece that he designed without the influence of working for another name is so very rare.

It fits like a dream. It is in perfect vintage condition. The clasp slides in and releases without flaw. The chain links are sturdy and reliable, and the patina is beautiful.
