A sexy pre eagle—prior to 1948, Taxco set that leans into the barbed wire or thorn realm. It has flex but holds its form, it doesn’t pinch, and hugs in nicely as a collar. I haven’t come across a design like this one and appreciate the integrity of the modernist work. The chain in both pieces of the set are in great condition and the patina is perfectly subtle. A mid century treasure.
