This torc necklace is handmade by artists of the Hmong ethnic group who have traditionally lived in China, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The Hmong silver style is very distinctive and the metal itself is known for being an alloy of silver, copper, and nickel. The blend of metals of this specific necklace is notably more silver in nature than other pieces with the same percentages.
