This weighty jade is called guatemalita and is indigenous only to Guatemala.
The stone is reminiscent of amazonite and turquoise and each bead has been handcrafted in the highlands of Guatemala by Mayan artists.
The necklace is paired with sterling silver floral charms from India. It is notably weighty and earthy, yet empoweringly feminine. The stones are very grounding and warm to the temperature of your body when worn. This one is difficult to let go.
